Morning Commute Soundtrack: Camera Obscura
Posted: 10.27.2011 Filed under: Camera Obscura, Morning Commute Soundtrack Leave a comment »No matter what kind of mood I’m in, Camera Obscura’s ‘Honey In The Sun’, from their excellent My Maudlin Career, always manages to bring a smile to my face and cheer me up (or make me even cheerier). It could be the retro Wall-Of-Sound production, the catchy chorus, the insistent rhythm, or the brass my GOD the brass, but it’s six minutes of perfection at the tail end of a nearly perfect album.
